Winterguard

About Us

The Avon Winterguards consist of 2 competition teams.

We have an RA class, (JV) and a AA class (Varsity) We compete in the Ohio Indoor Performance Association Circuit. We travel to 6-8 competitions and performances per season including State Championships held in early April.

Ohio Indoor Performance Association

Each group practices twice a week, and each group has a different show theme every season.

Each show is between 3.5-4 minutes long, and contains a combination of dance, flags, gymnastics, props, and theatrics.

All training is provided, and no experience is necessary!

Membership is by audition, and is open to all students in grades 7-12.
